On any given day, the team at HRT Solutions is focused on Recruiting, which requires them to match candidate skillsets to employer needs. And, the team’s matchmaking skills are not limited to the corporate world. Recently, the HRT Solutions team volunteered their time (and money) in the feline world, rolling up their sleeves at Nose 2 Tail Cat Rescue. It’s this work – and not their day jobs – that earned HRT Solutions a 2018 Corporate Citizenship award from the Pittsburgh Business Times.
The Pittsburgh Business Times created the Corporate Citizenship Award to recognize organizations that go the extra mile to support Pittsburgh-based nonprofits to the benefit of the region’s residents, whether two-legged or four-legged. And, the team at HRT Solutions knows quite a bit about those four-legged residents.
“Many of our team members have pets of our own and are passionate about animal rescue. Caring for animals contributes to our humanity. There are so many cats in need of loving homes – and so many homes are in need of loving cats. We are proud to help these furry friends,” says HRT Solutions CEO, Jessica Eberley of her team’s volunteer work.
